Pick up at the hotel at around 8 AM, we will drive 15 KM out of the city centre to Dong Ngac Cultural Village. Just some steps away from the busy roads, Dong Ngac Village hides in a peaceful surrounding of rice fields, flower fields, ancient houses as well as new modern houses. On arrival at the village, we will stop at a local market to see the daily life of the local, try your bargain skills to buy some fresh ingredient for our cooking class today before walk to an ancient house. Get welcomed by the host and talk with her over a cup of green tea, we then pick up our bike to ride around the village with stops at Communal House, the ancient house of Do family, an oldest school built in 1921. Venture further in the village, we cyclo to Tay Tuu flower village and see different kinds of colourful flowers are taken care by the local farmers.
Back to the family, we roll in the kitchen and help the owner with cooking some delicious food for lunch. After all our efforts, we can reward ourselves and rest back into some reclining chairs in the fragrant retreat of our host’s village garden. In the mid-afternoon, we will return to the hotel and end the tour at around 4 PM. Tour ends.
