Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay (L, D)
Start from our hotel in Hanoi at around 8 AM, we will transfer to Halong Bay via National Highway 18. Along the way, we stop at Humanity Centre to see how disable and disadvantage people doing their skilful work of embroidery and stone carving. On arrival in Halong, we will enjoy Welcome dinner before checking-in our cabin. Enjoy a delicious lunch while passing through the islet of Islet of Rocky Dog (Hon Cho Da), Incense Burner (Hon Dinh Huong) and Flight Cock (Hon Ga Choi).
In the mid-afternoon, we stop at Heavenly Palace, one of the most beautiful caves in Vietnam which was found in 1993. The rest of the day will be free for kayaking around the bay, swimming at Ti Top beach or climb into its peak. Dinner and overnight on boat.
Day 2: Halong Bay – Cat Ba Island (B, L, D)
After breakfast on boat, we continue cruising further in the bay to some fishing village and sea pearl farm and have a talk with the local fisherman of how to cultivate real sea pearl. Back to our cruise and check out of the cabin before taking a day-cruise to Cat Ba Island. Arrive in Cat Ba Island in the afternoon, we will have free time to exploring the town by yourself or free at the pristine Cat Co beach. Dinner in a local restaurant and spend the night in a hotel in Cat Ba Island.
Day 3: Cat Ba National Park – Hai Phong – Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel, we will take a local bus to Cat Ba National Park where we will have a short trek of 6 KM through the forest to one of the highest peak in the park. The trek takes for around 3 hours before our local bus take us back to town and then to Cat Co beach.
After lunch, we will take the mid-afternoon hydrofoil from Cat Ba to Hai Phong where we will find our car waiting and takes us back to Hanoi. Trip ends.
