One of the most popular sites for Asian is Perfume Pagoda which we will visit today. Start from the hotel at around 8 AM, our drive will be around 1.5 hours to Ha Tay – the new urban area of Hanoi, passing the countryside’s landscape. On arrival, we will take a sampan boat along Yen River to Thien Tru Pagoda and the walk up to the mountain for a panorama view of the surrounding. We then hike up to the mountain and get to Huong Tich cave, said to be ‘The most beautiful grotto’ by Lord Trinh Sam when he first visited the cave in 17th century. The entrance of the cave looks like an open mount of the dragon where we will take some steps down to a spacious cave with big statues of Buddha made by green stone and numerous stalactites and stalagmites.
