Mekong Delta – My Tho Exploration – Full Day

Introduction

My Tho – the first city in the Mekong Delta and is the capital of Tien Giang province. The drive is around 1.5 hours in Trung Luong National Highway and the short distance is one of the reasons that makes My Tho is one of the most popular sites in the South of Vietnam.

Full Itinerary

Pick up at 8 AM at our hotel, we will take 70-KM drive to the peaceful town of My Tho where we will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda on arrival. We then have a boat ride to visit some cottage industries of making coconut candy, rice popcorn, honeybee as well as some fruit orchards. We then take a sampan ride on the palm-shaded creeks and have lunch with typical Mekong Delta food in a local restaurant. In the mid-afternoon, we will return to Ho Chi Minh City and end the tour at around 5 PM at hotel.
